METZTLI is my pitch for a short film based on an Aztec story about a rabbit on the moon. The idea was to explore that folktale and expand on it with character designs and a general idea for what the world might look like. 

I liked the idea of exploring the relationship between two pairs of siblings, Quetzalcoatl and Tezcatlipoca, as well as Coyolxauhqui and Huitzilopochtli, with both pairs constantly fighting amongst each other over how their fifth world will be run, and how a rabbit fits into all of it.
